It is also well known for its golf courses and country club estates. There are at least 11 elementary schools, 3 high schools and 1 college (Fleming College) within the town’s limits, and with the help of Lindsay transit residents have access to not just the Lindsay community, but will also have access to the surrounding areas to connect with other public transit. Lindsay also has a special partnership with their sister city, Nayoro Japan, that provides a cultural exchange for two local students to visit Japan for free through the Olde Gaol Museum every two years.
